Overview & Description:

The Logistics, Fleet & Mobility Operations Manager leads transport and mobility operations across the Group's internal fleet, its private car-rental business, and its emerging public-facing ride-hailing and food-delivery platform. The role keeps vehicles, drivers, and logistics safe, compliant, available, and well utilised, while building the systems to scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Group's fleet, car-rental operations, and daily transport and logistics, ensuring high vehicle availability, utilisation, and service quality.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, fuel control, telematics, documentation, insurance, accident claims, and statutory and regulatory compliance, so that no vehicle operates without valid papers and cover.
  • Build the operating processes for the ride-hailing and food-delivery platform, including driver and courier onboarding, support, and retention.
  • Ensure reliable ride and delivery operations by managing driver and courier supply, dispatch, fulfilment, customer incidents, and escalations.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs, controls, and reporting across fleet, rental, ride-hailing, and delivery, coordinating with Technology, Finance, HR, Commercial, and Customer Support.
  • Track fleet utilisation, downtime, maintenance and fuel costs, trips, cancellations, delivery times, driver productivity, and service levels, and lead improvements with regulators and vendors to scale safely and profitably.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fleet management, logistics, transport, ride-hailing, delivery, car rental, or a similar operational business, including people management; ride-hailing, last-mile, e-commerce, or high-growth logistics is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; strong knowledge of Liberian vehicle, insurance, and road-safety rules.
  • Strong Excel, data-analysis, and telematics skills, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management, with experience managing drivers and vendors and building processes from scratch; valid driving licence required.
