Overview & Description:
In Charge of all activities related to animating the Orange Fab Space, Supporting Startups, and developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Execution
- Develop local business opportunities by scouting, selecting, and supporting startups, mainly relying on Orange's and other partners' business units for investment or commercial collaborations.
- Drive the international growth of Orange Fab by identifying and engaging relevant startups, particularly leveraging the Orange Fab network.
- Act as a central point for startup acceleration, helping them secure funding, develop their products, and access national and international markets through the global Orange Fab network.
- Assist Orange Fab startups in building relationships with partners, incubators, and third-party accelerators.
- Create and deliver pertinent business development training and services for startups at the ODC and ODC Clubs within the country.
- Organize activities, events, and foster relationships with various players in the local ecosystem.
- Work with communication teams to promote the visibility of startups and Orange Fab at local and international events.
Strategic Support & Advisory
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager to support strategic planning, program growth, and operational enhancements.
- Offer technical guidance on partnerships, MoUs, contracts, and program collaborations.
- Assist with group-level projects and initiatives delegated to the local ODC, ensuring effective execution.
- Support and manage daily operations of ODC programs such as Orange Fab, Coding School, Fab Lab, and Print and Design Lab.
- Oversee trainers and facilitators to ensure high-quality delivery of training and mentorship activities.
- Manage program logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the Senior Manager from time to time in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, government entities, and investors.
- Support negotiation, review, and execution of partnerships to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships across the ecosystem to enhance collaboration and innovation.
Program Development & Mentorship
- Assist in designing training curricula, workshops, and program frameworks for startups, youth, and social impact initiatives.
- Mentor program participants, providing guidance on entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development. Monitor participant progress and provide actionable feedback to enhance outcomes.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, ICT, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in program management, startup incubation, or innovation ecosystems.
- Proven experience managing multiple programs simultaneously, coordinating trainers, and mentoring startups or youth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital technology, social impact ventures, and entrepreneurship support.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
